While full care is available, we encourage independence and embrace active living through a range of services and recreational activities. Long-term care residents have access to nursing care 24 hours a day, enjoy air-conditioned rooms, and all meals are provided as well as personal care support. In Ontario, all Long-Term Care facilities charge the same rates. Rates are set by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Lower-income residents may qualify for subsidized accommodation. How to Become a Part of Our Home
All applications and admission to long-term care homes are arranged by Home and Community Care Support Services Waterloo Wellington, and they will support you during the process. Please call 310-2222 (no area code required). When you call, you will be matched with a placement coordinator who will help you with your application.
