My Front Door Campaign
The Butterfly Approach is about making long-term care feel more like a home, not a place of work. For many of us, home is where we feel most comfortable, loved and protected. It is where we feel like we belong and where we feel safe. For most of us, home begins at the front door.
We are pleased to share that we reached our fundraising goal for The Elliott Community’s Giving Tuesday campaign in November 2023. Work is underway to install a unique, warm and welcoming front door on every long-term care room at The Elliott Community.
Providing unique front doors will help residents to recognize and locate their rooms, spark conversation, add colour and warmth and increase a sense of belonging. Thank you to everyone who supported the “My Front Door” Campaign.
